Strengthening Children in Mind and Body Through Successful Gymnastics Experiences Since 1966
BOYS GYMNASTICS
Gleason's recreational program has many levels from beginning to advanced. Class time is usually 1/3 time tumbling, 1/3 apparatus, 1/3 trampoline. In emphasizing these three areas in our basic curriculum, Gleason's gives the student a strong all-around gymnastics foundation.
The sport of gymnastics can be used as a vehicle to enhance children's adaptation to both academics and sports. It is important to learn the movement concepts involved in a skill as well as learning the skill. The focus should be on the development of self-esteem along with skill acquisition.
Students must pass Beginning or be evaluated by Gleason's staff to enroll beyond introductory level
