Greta Jonas is Gleason’s first circus star! She is nine years old, and has been doing gymnastics at Gleason’s for two years. When asked why she wanted to join the circus class, her reply was “Cuz circus is AWESOME!” She has been in the circus class for almost a month, and her favorite skill is a lean-over the tissu. She has also been learning basic tricks on the trapeze as well as body balancing with her teacher, Shannon – just this Tuesday she learned how to stand on somebody else’s shoulders! She admitted that it was a little scary at first, but it was so fun she wanted to try it again anyways!
